Looking after ourselves

Re: Coping with being excluded / pushed away

@ferngully I'm sorry to hear you are sitting with this grief. It can be so hard to sit with these difficult emotions, feeling hurt and confused as you mention. It also sounds like you are about to embark on a journey of change and uncertainty as you potentially move from your home together. Do you have someone outside of these forums to support you through all of this? 💝Please continue to reach out to us here as we are listening 😊

Re: Coping with being excluded / pushed away

Thank you @Paperdaisy. I have a therapist who I speak to weekly at the moment and friends at call. I also know to call hotlines when I'm distressed. It's all so much and I can't stop asking why this is happening.

@ferngully

Its important you have support in place and are following good self care practices.

Sorry for the loss of your pets and some of your dreams.

Mental bealth issues can be tricky for the person directly involved and all those around who care.

It might be more about the general craziness in life these days, than any one specific thing.

Re: Coping with being excluded / pushed away

We are going through very similar things right now too. False family violence reports because he left her due to not being able to cope.

There’s obviously lots more to it but I won’t go into all of that.
It’s so hard. I feel for you.
Part of me wonders if it’s worth all the stress.
I can walk away and not deal with it, but I worry about her child. Especially as she’s clearly manic.
Hopefully the hospital can get your partner on the right meds and have her seeing clearly again.
Good luck x
