It’s so very hard to deal with lack of assistance in desperate time. I have contacted the health ombudsman and made complaints about the complete lack of help across the continuum of care for my adult 32 yo son . 9 years involved with MH.   Enough is enough. Requested investigation in October 18 just been contacted re closing case. Another mess. Miscommunicatiin . No verification . Replied unsatisfied with assessment and have a new assessment of treating team beginning . Emotionally draining .  But not giving up even though I am invisible and he has the right to self destruct . Good luck and take care of you also. I share your desperation and desire to help change the processes

I have just joined this forum and find I can relate to your experience completely as my husband was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder around 40 years ago. This condition seems to be less understood by proffessionals I have found , causing much mismanagement of my husbands management, causing great problems in our family
