@Sam3 @Snowie @Sam3 @Shaz51 Not a fan of Halloween - just another commercial construct that has no relevance to our heritage or culture. I know the kids growing up these days love it so for them I get it but I still wish it had never become part of our lives here in Australia.
@Snowie It is the other way around in our house - it is Cat that always seems to be hungry and Tobes just follows her.

I have to do some work tomorrow @Snowie no matter how I am feeling. I am going to try to do a little tonight but the 'thinking' stuff will need to be left because I am just not in the headspace for it. I have a little housework to do (which I will try to get done tonight also) then will need to do a little grocery shopping tomorrow - don't need much so shouldn't take long. I have a couple of plats to put in pots so will take a few minutes to do that tomorrow also. What about you?

Well hopefully you get some sleep tonight hun so you can get what you need to do tomorrow @Zoe7
Haven't got much planned for tomorrow. Guess we will see how H is and probably just another home day for us.

I am not overly confident of sleeping tonight @Snowie Been having some really horrible nightmares this week and they have been leaving me feeling very on edge ...lingering during the day - so going to stay on the couch tonight and grab whatever sleep I can, when I can.
Sounds like a quiet day for you tomorrow but maybe best if H is still recovering. Plenty of Izzy cuddles though I suspect is the upside ![]()

Sorry to hear hun @Zoe7 Sounds like your nights have been really tricky.
Hopefully Tobes can keep you company on the couch.

Yes he does @Snowie He sleeps on the back cushion above me or on the pillow behind me - so he is super close always. Knowing he is there actually helps and I feel safer on the couch.
Been a while since I have had those nightmares that just seem to keep going. I know there has been a lot to deal with and my brain is not processing a lot of it so I am not surprised - but it is super tricky. At this stage unfortunately I just need to keep going and get through as best I can.

Glad Tobes is close to you hun and makes you feel safer @Zoe7
Those nightmares are hun that continue throughout the day. It is hard to clear our mind, hard to sleep and even harder to function normally.
You are doing such an amazing job of coping with it all hun, you should be super proud of yourself.
