Light and Fluffy!
Hi, I'd like to make a suggestion for a new top level board: the "Light and Fluffy" board for jokes, funny links, socialising, silliness, talking about things completely unrelated to MI, and cat pictures.
I believe that community, trust and friendship are what makes a forum like this valuable as a place to share the recovery journey. A board like this would help build community.
Also we are all vulnerable people and too much negative experience and intense discussion of mental illness can be overwhelming and disheartening at times. A light and fluffy board would help break it up.

Re: Light and Fluffy!
Hi Che,
Might not make 'top level' so we might have to start it right here :-
Q - 'How many psychologists does it take to change a light bulb'...........................
A - 'Only one - but the light bulb has to want to change'.............
Regards, Jake (apologies to any psychologists out there reading this)

Re: Light and Fluffy!
Hi, I think this a great idea. It's important to break away from serious and heavy conversation. Though they are important, it's important to have a balance and sometime talk about lighter stuff.

Re: Light and Fluffy!
Haha, great joke, Jake!
Chemorno - thanks for the suggestion. I agree with you and BeHappy light and fluffy stuff is always great, it helps break the ice, make connections, and move away from issues related to MH. With the forums just starting, we invisaged that the current discussion threads would encompass most themes, though it can be tricky to include everything. I think the content that you are referring to could be placed in the 'Looking After Ourselves' discussion topic by starting a new thread, which you can feel free to do.
Having said that, with the forums picking up, we will review the current discussion topics and make changes where there's a need. 🙂

A: A flat major.
Q: Did you hear about the stupid pianist who kept banging his head against the keys?
A: He was playing by ear.

Hey Che,
I didn't get it, so I Googled it......... and I still don't get it....................???
So here's one for you to ponder:-
Did you know that there are only 2 types of people in the world:-
1) Those that think there are 2 types of people in the world and..........
2) Those that don't (think that there are 2 types of people in the world)...........

Re: Light and Fluffy!
Hi Jake,
I'm not sure I do either. Maybe the joke is that it doesn't make sense any more than surrealist paintings do.Perhaps Che might be so kind as to enlighten us?
Best regards,
Kristin
