Hey @Dimity! I am walking so much now and am wondering if its possible for me to lose weight on this med but I feel encouraged by people in this community.  I have just started resistance training.  I stick to a set of easy to do repetitions.  I'm also doing nordic walking.  I received an email with studies that said you get more of a workout with it compared to just plain walking.

Yes you got it @Dimity - you use poles.  I bought mine online on a Black Friday sale. They are cheap.  You don't use them for skiing they are made for hard surfaces and walking

Love the thought @Dimity. Starting out even in bite size pieces might mean you initially focus on enjoying the experience first and any aerobic benefits later. Might help you to set up a routine and take it from there!

Took doggo to the dog park for an hour today. He is a muscular chap because he is addicted to fetch. I get compliments on his fitness. I wish I could get a few of those compliments.

Hey @Dimity I’m still pounding the pavement. Had to squeeze in a walk for a few hours. I could’ve kept on going but had to head off to see a movie. Priorities, priorities!!
