Some really wise words there @Former-Member and important to get it outside of yourself too. That compassion and non-judgement is such a key ingredient. One kind and understanding person at work can make al the difference - although that should be the norm and not the exception!
I like some of the resources on mental health at work provided by Beyond Blue on their headsup website. I do hope that 'mental health literacy' in the workplace improves over time. Thanks for sharing your experience in retail 🛍

It should be but it isn’t everywhere @Margot
I once had a therapist mock me about my appearance and skincare actually. I still don’t really look after myself these days with the depression. Something I will never understand though is how a therapist can do that to an employee with harsh judgement After working on clients for years but hey 👋
now I am being judgemental
I think communication is the key along with the other
