Re: Back again checking in

Hi @NatureLover thank you for your ongoing care and concern. I got about 3 hours which is going to make driving 5 hours today quite tough. I will take a few breaks though as I have my son with me and I value his safety.
Went shopping today, I have decided if I look better I will undoubtably feel better, well it's a start anyway. I am sick of feeling frumpy and well grumpy. 😊

Re: Back again checking in

Oh gosh, 5 hours' drive, @Lilly6 ...wishing for energy for you...

Shopping sounds good! 🙂

Re: Back again checking in

Hi @NatureLover The drive was really hard and felt very tired. I used to be able to drive it no problem but now any long drive and I feel like I am going to fall asleep.....

Feel quite down again tonight unfortunately, so so sick of feeling this way!! Looking for positives though but not really finding any.

Re: Back again checking in

@Lilly6  I know what it's like to be looking for positives and not finding any 😞

Well done for accomplishing the long drive yesterday despite it being really hard.

I hope you wake up this morning feeling a bit brighter...

Re: Back again checking in

Thank you @NatureLover

Having trouble coping today. Probably won't post again for awhile.

OK, sorry to hear, but thanks for letting us know. Please take care.

Re: Back again checking in

Thanks decided to post after all as I wanted to talk. Sorry if I am annoying people with all my posts.
I am struggling bad today and feel crushed. Have had a bad morning trying to help a friend who I am worried about now. Didn't know what to say to help him feel better. So finding it hard to find positives right now. Is it better to say you are there for someone and not really say anything but be there or offer the usual platitudes??

Re: Back again checking in

You're definitely not annoying anyone, that's what these forums are for, to post and get peer support 🙂

I reckon better to say you are there and not really say anything...but I don't know his situation (and I don't need to know). I'm sorry though that you feel crushed and low.

Re: Back again checking in

Thank you @NatureLover  i feel somewhat better this afternoon. I think being so tired after yesterday didn't help as well as the stuff with my friend.
I am working closely with my therapist (I am growing to like and trust her) and mental health and generally I am starting to feel more positive.
thank you for being so understanding through all my negativity. I hope you are well.

Re: Back again checking in

Am delighted to hear you're feeling a bit better this afternoon @Lilly6  🙂

You're allowed to be negative when you have severe depression. But I'm glad you're feeling some positivity too, that's great. 🙂

Thanks for your good wishes, I'm doing OK today.
